What's new for the USAIRE Student Awards and ORAJe?
USAIRE revealed the palmares of 2025 USAIRE Student Awards competition. After a selection of 15 finalists, 5 teams have been rewarded.

On April 22nd, ORAJe members had the unique opportunity to take part in an exclusive visit of the BEA | Bureau d’EnquĂŞtes et d’Analyses pour la sĂ©curitĂ© de l’aviation civile led by Matthieu Clavel, investigator at the BEA.
As the applications for the USAIRE Student Awards 2025 closed on April 4th, ORAJe is glad to announce that the contest has reached its highest number of participants ever! 🤩
On Friday March 14th, ORAJe members had the privilege to attend USAIRE’s Airlines Panel Luncheon.
On March 11, ORAJe members had the privilege of attending the hashtag#WomenInAerospace Forum 2025, an inspiring event organized by the Royal Aeronautical Society – Paris Branch.
ORAJe members had the privilege of engaging with Vice Admiral Serge Bordarier during USAIRE’s March Breakfast on Defence at Cercle de l’Union InteralliĂ©e.
ORAJe members had the pleasure to meet with Mikaa Blugeon-Mered, overseas territories’ geopolitics and hydrogen expert, for an eye-opening dinner.
On January 31, ORAJe members had the honor of engaging with Damien CazĂ© during USAIRE’s January Luncheon at Cercle de l’Union InteralliĂ©e.
On January 28th, ORAJe members had the pleasure of meeting CARL CHEVILLON, Managing Director at Raytheon Systems France, and President of USAIRE at the Cercle National des Armées, in Paris.
Several members of ORAJe had the exceptional opportunity to visit LBG Airport, hosted by Groupe ADP. This insightful day offered a deeper understanding of the critical role played by this iconic platform and the general aviation airfields it oversees.
ORAJe members had the privilege of meeting LtGen Alexandre Lahousse, head of the Defense Industry directorate at DGA – Direction gĂ©nĂ©rale de l’armement during USAIRE’s January Defense Breakfast at the Cercle de l’Union InteralliĂ©e in Paris!
USAIRE revealed the palmares of 2024 USAIRE Student Awards competition. After a selection of 15 finalists, 5 teams have been rewarded. This year, 120 students from 31 different countries submitted their One Pagers, and 27% of the finalists were women.

On November 28th, ORAJe hosted its 2024 year-end dinner, in the company of Michel Dubarry and Morena Bernardini.
On November 13th, ORAJe members had the privilege to meet with Stéphane Mayer, ex-CEO of Nexter, Daher and KNDS France.
The USAIRE Student Awards 2024 Jury took place on October 11th, 2024. After a long debate, 5 teams of laureates were chosen.
ORAJe members had the privilege of meeting Emmanuel Chiva, head of DGA – Direction gĂ©nĂ©rale de l’armement, during the USAIRE Luncheon on September 16th.
ORAJe had the great opportunity to visit ArianeGroup’s historic Vernon site, a cornerstone of European space exploration.
On June 27th, 2024, ORAJe members along with Les Jeunes IHEDN had the honor to meet with Bruno Verzotti, MBDA Future Systems Director.Â
USAIRE Student Awards finalists attended a Welcome Dinner, hosted right after Paris Air Forum by ORAJe President Héloïse Conte. This event provided an excellent opportunity to network and warmly welcome the new members into the association. The atmosphere was electric as attendees connected, exchanged ideas, and celebrated their shared hashtagpassion for aviation.
