Jointly organised by the USAIRE association and the French Air Force, the Post USAIRE Student Awards seminar took place on the 3rd of February at the Military Academy in Paris. The event was notably attended by Air France, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Starburst, Raytheon, AAR, Corsair, and the Defence Innovation Agency.
The winners of the 2019 edition had the opportunity to present their views on last edition’s subject: “Defence Aerospace and Protectionism in a Multipolar World”. It was then followed by a very successful roleplay with people from the audience acting as representatives of the US, EU and Russian positions on this very same topic.
It was also the occasion for Nicolas Bertrand, Air France’s Fleet Director, to officially launch the 2020 edition of the USAIRE Student Awards on the topic “Be green, Keep flying!”.
